Dr. Sai Satish is a globally recognized interventional cardiologist, specializing in Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR/TAVI) and MitraClip procedures. Based in Chennai, India, he leads advanced cardiac programs at Apollo Hospitals and trains physicians across Asia, Europe, and South Asia.
With over 10,000 coronary interventions, 500+ TAVRs, and the highest number of MitraClip implants in South Asia, Dr. Sai has revolutionized cardiac care, especially for high-risk and inoperable patients. Dr. Sai Satish is at the forefront of minimally invasive heart valve replacements and complex coronary interventions.
He has pioneered the first-ever TAVI procedures in several regions, including Nepal, Maldives, and Sri Lanka, and helped launch TAVI programs in renowned hospitals across India, such as AIIMS New Delhi and PGI Chandigarh. His vast expertise, combined with hands-on experience, clinical leadership, and international teaching, has earned him recognition as one of the best interventional cardiologists in India.
